Vince McMahon's Office Wasn't Trashed At MITB For A Very Prehistoric Reason

Vince McMahon didn't want his office trashed at Money in the Bank for a very interesting reason. The PPV, which was pre-recorded, showcased unique Ladder matches in which contestants started at the ground floor of WWE Headquarters and then worked their way up. The men's and women's matches were also shot simultaneously.
The participants did not hold back and trashed just about everything they could see. Yet you may have noticed that McMahon's office mostly left alone. At one point, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan's exchange of blows saw them step inside the office, but they stopped once they realized the WWE chairman was in there.

Vince yelled at them and ordered them to exit his quarters and they did, coming back to fix the chairs before the WWE chief applied some sanitizer to his hands and got back to work.
According to Wrestlingnews.co's Paul Davis, a writer made a pitch suggesting the superstars engage in a brawl inside the office but McMahon wasn't on board with it as he simply wasn't keen on seeing his office trashed. The main reason for his rebuke is said to be because of the dinosaur bones he has hanging on his wall.
Seems Fair
That certainly seems like a good reason to not want one's office tampered with, doesn't it?
As for the PPV, it was applauded by the WWE Universe via social media and wasn't a disappointment even considering current circumstances. While Vince's office remained untouched, WWE let the performers run loose and destroy everything in their path.
Otis and Asuka came away with the respective briefcases on the night and it will be interesting to see how they approach their redeeming of the coveted enclosures.
