It has now been revealed that filmmaker Vetrimaaran who'll be directing actors Soori and Vijay Sethupati in a film, has named the film Viduthalai. The makers have also released first-look posters of the movie. This will be the first time that Vetrimaaran will be working with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi. The posters show Soori as a police officer while Sethupathi is in handcuffs. It is unclear what Sethupati's role is.aaran

Filmmaker Bharathiraja will also be seen making a cameo in the movie. According to the media reports, the movie is based on a novel called Ajnabee. “It’s every actor’s dream to work with Vetri sir. When he called and told me he has this story which he’d like to make with me, I didn’t even think for a minute to give my nod," Soori said during a media interaction recently.
