Trio of APA Agents Joins WME (Exclusive) – The Hollywood Reporter

Writer Daniel Cobb

Agents Amanda Hacohen, David Meese and Anna Weinstein have left APA for WME, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

The move follows that of APA partner and comedy co-head Mike Berkowitz, who left in December to lead WME’s comedy touring division. He was joined a week later by 10 more comedy agents and executives. Hacohen and Meese are joining the television department in Los Angeles, while Weinstein will be a talent agent based in New York.

Hacohen first started working with comedians in ABC’s comedy development department, while Meese also began his entertainment career outside the agency world at Silver Pictures. Weinstein came up through ICM Partners before earning her comedy chops as a talent associate and Lorne Michaels’ assistant at Saturday Night Live.

Clients confirmed to follow the trio to WME are Kevin Avery (The New Negroes, The Jim Jefferies Show), Joel Kim Booster (Birthright), Joanna Bradley (The Break With Michelle Wolf), Anna Drezen (Saturday Night Live), Gabriel Garza and Jonathan Butler (The Flash), Karen Graci (Tuca and Bertie), Emily Heller (Barry), Jeff Maurer (Last Week Tonight With John Oliver), Craig Rowin (Wet Hot American Summer), Nicole Silverberg (Full Frontal With Samantha Bee), Moses Storm (Conan) and Nicole Sun (I Feel Bad).
