However, that doesn't mean that he hasn't had a few moments that fans have questioned. Over his career, Batista has had plenty of heelish moments that fans have been shocked to see, and these are the ten worst things that he has done in wrestling.
10 "Kissing Babies & Hugging Fat Girls"
Batista's heel run in 2009/2010 really was incredible, he had really hit the peak of his career here and was completely comfortable both in the ring and on the microphone. Feuding with John Cena over the WWE Championship was just the perfect situation for him.
He cut many great heel promos, but one of them saw him rip Cena apart for, "kissing babies and hugging fat girls." It became an iconic Batista line, but there's no doubt it's a terrible thing, as he was basically shaming fans and Cena all at once.
9 Deacon Batista
Fans might have long since forgotten just how Batista was introduced to the wrestling world, but it came when working alongside D-Von Dudley. Having just split from Bubba Ray, he began working a reverend gimmick and Batista was part of it.

He worked on the outside, consistently cheating to help the Dudley Boy secure victories, all while collecting money from people on the outside. It was a very heelish character and saw him do some dastardly things.
8 Bluetista
This isn't something that Batista did in terms of beating up another wrestler or cheating against a heel, but it is just a real crime against wrestling fashion. While many wrestlers have worn some awful ring gear, Batista's all blue look is up there with the worst.
It was a terrible look for him and just led to fans chanting "Bluetista" at him repeatedly. He wanted to be respected, but instead, it led to fans just mocking him and it's hard to really blame them.
7 "I Quit"
Some people may have criticised Batista throughout his career about his promos, but the fact is he could deliver a fantastic one whenever he wanted. In 2010, after battling John Cena the previous night, Batista's famous "I Quit" promo was a great example of that.

He showed complete disrespect to the business, the fans, and Bret Hart in what was an amazing heel promo. Fans thought it was all storyline at the time, but his contract had actually expired and he did walk away after this, making it an even bigger moment.
6 The Spotlight
Every professional wrestler craves the spotlight, that's why they work in the entertainment industry. However, Batista took that to an entirely new level when he went around literally demanding that a spotlight was put onto him whenever he was out.
From ditching the fireworks in his entrance for a sole spotlight to how his promos would put a spotlight on him, the Animal made sure everyone knew he was the big deal and his arrogance was over the top and very frustrating for fans.
5 Attacking The Undertaker
Very few men manage to get one over on the Deadman, but throughout his career, Batista proved to be a real thorn in the side of The Undertaker. Their feud was an epic one, but it often brought out a darker side of Batista.
During that feud, Batista attacked Undertaker from behind during his entrance, which is something few have dared to do. Using a chair to get the best of the Deadman, he left him laying, but did have an unfair advantage of attacking him from behind.
4 Attacking Ric Flair
When Batista made his most recent comeback for his final in-ring match, he kickstarted it all by attacking Ric Flair. On what was meant to be a birthday celebration for the Nature Boy, the Animal popped up to attack him backstage, dragging him around as if he meant nothing.

While it certainly worked in terms of getting Triple H's attention, it is also one of the worst things he has ever done. Flair was no longer wrestling and he was meant to be a mentor to Batista, with the respect being thrown out of the window.
3 Breaking Goldberg's Ankle
Back in 2003, Goldberg was the dominant man on the scene and someone who certainly put the fear into Triple H. Because of that, he put a $100,000 bounty on his head, hoping someone would take him out.
In the end, it was Batista who stepped up to the plate and took out the former WCW star. Not only did Batista attack Goldberg, but he went on to break his ankle, taking him out of action for a little while.
2 His Entire Evolution Run
Evolution is a faction that wrestling fans look back on fondly because of the impact the group made, but the fact is that they were major heels. All four of them would constantly cheat, attacking their opponents and weakening them to gain an advantage.
They would happily use the numbers advantage and cheat on the outside. Bragging about money through fancy cars and posh suits, the group were the ultimate heels and constantly did terrible things to others.
1 "I'm Going To Rip Your Head Off"
Batista and Rey Mysterio had always worked well together as friends and partners. They shared a common love for Eddie Guerrero and it meant fans really bought into it, so when he told Rey he was going to rip his head off, fans were gobsmacked.
Batista then went on to destroy his friend all around the ring, beating him up and throwing him around as if he was a doll. It was a brutal segment that shocked the wrestling world and left fans heartbroken.
