Shane "Swerve" Strickland is ALL ELITE! After weeks of rumors surrounding his future, the former WWE Superstar officially signed for AEW during the company's Revolution pay-per-view on Sunday, March 6 ... and the crowd was more than happy to see him.
It all went down at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida immediately following the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match, which was won by Wardlow. Tony Schiavone stood on the ramp and announced that he was about to introduce AEW's newest free agent acquisition -- Swerve Strickland. The crowd went wild as Swerve emerged from the back and joined Schiavone at the top of the ramp. Schiavone offered Swerve the contract and the former NXT North American Champion signed on the dotted line then and there.
Swerve then got on the mic and began to ask the crowd a question, but the crowd answered before he'd even finished asking. "WHOSE HOUSE?!" Swerve asked the Orlando crowd, who dutifully and gleefully responded, "SWERVE'S HOUSE!"
