It's not been noted by WWE if Drew McIntyre is now officially part of The Brawling Brutes faction but Sheamus did call him McIntyre an Honorary Brute on Friday night and the two appear to be an official tag team. McIntyre and Sheamus were announced as 'The Banger Bros' during their match with The Usos on SmackDown and it will be intriguing to see if the company keeps this team together in an effort to beef up its tag team division.McIntyre and Sheamus have been enemies, but also close friends in real life. Of late, they've been buddies in WWE and both seem to have a lot in common, not the least of which is having a good time fighting and getting physical in the ring. Both are former World Champions and together, they make a formidable tag team. It didn't pan out for them Friday night as Sheamus took the pin in the main event, but they may stick together moving forward.The potential downside here is that The Brawling Brutes were really growing in popularity as a team of three. McIntyre certainly fits, but there will be the question of whether this group forms two tag team pairings or simply throw two people together for any upcoming challenges. Keep in mind, McIntyre and Sheamus have already been targeted by one of the company's newest and most dominant tag teams The Viking Raiders. After SmackDown went off the air, Erik and Ivar attacked Sheamus and McIntyre and left them laying.

New Rivalry In The Works

WWE seems to have set the stage for a new tag team rivalry between The Viking Raiders and The Banger Bros. This will be a very physical war that could lead to a match at The Royal Rumble. If that's the case, does it mean all four of these men will be too busy to enter the Rumble itself?
