Scott Steiner On Putting Aside Animosity Towards WWE For Hall Of Fame
Liam Parker
It's no secret that there was no love lost between Scott Steiner and WWE which is why many were surprised that the wrestler agreed to make an appearance and be inducted into this year's WWE Hall of Fame.
Big Poppa Pump recently did a phone interview with his hometown paper The Detroit News to talk about his wrestling career and he addressed the change of heart towards WWE that allowed him to put the past behind him.

“You’ve gotta let it go, you can’t harbor all the bad feelings,” Steiner said. “You’ve gotta grow up.”
Scott Steiner was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside his brother Rick at this year's WrestleMania in April. The brothers joined names like Queen Sharmelle, Shad Gaspard and The Undertaker as the class of 2022.
Steiner's nephew, Bron Breakker, is also now in WWE and is currently enjoying a run at the top of NXT 2.0 as the NXT Champion. Breakker is hotly tipped as the next breakout star in WWE and he's certainly being treated like it so far.
Why Was Scott Steiner Angry At WWE For All These Years?
Steiner had two runs with WWE and neither of them really worked out. In particular his second run from 2002 to 2004 was a disaster that saw him positioned as the next star in the company, but then quickly plummeting down the card until his exit. It is believed that this was the cause of the breakdown in relationship between Steiner and WWE.
In 2020 he gave an extraordinary interview with David Penzer for his “Sitting Ringside” podcast and had a lot to say about WWE and the Hall of Fame
"It’s the worst place ever to work. Every time I worked there, I wanted to quit," he said. (h/t WrestlingNewsCo)
And on the Hall of Fame: "First off, where in the f*ck is the Hall Of Fame? How can you be in the Hall Of Fame if it doesn’t exist? It exists in Vince’s mind. Do I give a f*ck if I rent space in Vince’s mind? F*ck no, I don’t give a f*ck what he thinks. So I don’t care if I’m in the Hall Of Fame because it’s a f*cking joke because it don’t exist. Why do I care if I go in the Hall Of Fame? It’s not there, go visit it! Where are you gonna go visit it at?”
