Rena Sofer Reveals Whether She Will Ever Return To The Bold And The Beautiful

Writer Isabella Bartlett

Sadly for fans of Rena Sofer and her "The Bold and the Beautiful," character Quinn, the door seems to be closed on a potential return. Per Soaps.com, Sofer revealed her future on the daytime soap, and it's bleak. Regarding the possibility of returning down the road, Sofer said, "It's hard enough to be on a soap opera when you don't have a story, but to come back in a recurring role to a show that you were fully invested in as a daily player would not be a comfortable place for me. That is not a step in the direction I want to go." Sofer lamented the finality of her exit, stating, "I want to move forward with my life," she adds, "into the scary unknown."

In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy for the role of Lois Cerullo on "General Hospital." A return couldn't come at a better time.
