Paige pranked her Absolution team mates at a live event over the weekend for April Fool's Day and caught the whole thing on camera.

No one loves celebrating the holidays in the cheesiest ways possible more than WWE. Having a trick or street fight on Raw every Halloween where a Superstar ends up with a pumpkin on their head has basically become a tradition, as has someone dressing up as Santa Claus for a match at Christmas.

Surprisingly Easter has taken something of a back seat this year. Even though yesterday was Easter Monday there was no mention of a gimmick match involving eggs on Raw or somebody dressing up as the Easter Bunny. On Sunday though it was April Fool's Day and one WWE Superstar celebrated it in style by tricking a couple of her peers and catching the whole thing on her phone for WWE's YouTube channel.

That Superstar was Paige who had the help of Nia Jax and ring announcer Mike Rome. Paige's Absolution team mates Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose were informed that their fearless leader was not at the live event where they played the prank on Sunday because she missed her flight. They were also told that she was in a lot of trouble for it which led to the two of them apparently freaking out off camera.

That meant later in the evening when Rose and Deville had to go to the ring they had to do it alone. That was until Paige darted out between them in front of the whole WWE Universe and revealed that the whole thing had been a trick. Again Paige was filming everything on her phone so that she could catch their reactions as she surprised them.

What exactly is going on with Paige right now in terms of her career is somewhat up in the air. The general consensus is that she has been told by WWE that she can no longer wrestle due to the injury she suffered to her neck not long after her return from surgery. No official announcement has been made though, by either Paige or WWE, so perhaps we might see her perform alongside the rest of Absolution again one day.
