Ghost of Tsushima is all about how the player chooses to engage in combat. Players can obtain various stances, weapons, and combat techniques. Many weapons and techniques can only be obtained by Jin progressing through the storyline. These storyline trapped features include the blowgun, longbow, the seven Mythic techniques and more. Obtaining these weapons and techniques contributes largely to the tale of Jin's journey in retaking Tsushima from the Mongols.

Heavenly Strike Questline in Ghost of Tsushima

In order to obtain the mission for the Heavenly Strike, players will need to find a musician. This musician will tell players the Mythic Tale of the Heavenly Strike. He can be located by listening to townspeople at the Golden Temple, but is located southwest of the Golden Temple to the right of the Brown River Gorge. After listening to the Mythic Tale of the lightning beasts and how the white leafed trees came to be, the questline to find the White Leafed Tree and to obtain the Heavenly Strike is initiated.

White Leafed Tree Location in Ghost of Tsushima

Jin will infiltrate Mongol camps, climb cliffs, and interact with villagers along the way, before finding himself at the Plum Blossom Shrine. From here, players can follow a path up the shrine to locate a white leafed tree. Upon finding the white leafed tree, Jin will travel to a White Tree Grove. The grove leads to Shigenori's Rest where players will encounter a boss fight with Yasuhira Koga. While in the presence of a white leafed tree that is similar to the one on the tapestry, Jin may master the Heavenly Strike and defeat Koga.

With the recent patch to Ghost of Tsushima, players can now take on a newly added lethal difficulty.
