Hema Malini marked her 75th birthday on Monday, October 16. The celebrated actress chose to spend most of her day indoors with her family. In a recent interview, the veteran star shared her thoughts on reaching the age of 75 and disclosed that her husband, the actor Dharmendra, had given her the most meaningful gift, making her day even more remarkable. Dharmendra and Hema have been happily married for more than four decades and are the proud parents of two daughters, Esha and Ahana.
In a conversation with a leading news portal, Hema Hema disclosed that Dharmendra had bestowed her with the gift of his presence on her birthday. The actor went to great lengths, flying all the way from the United States just in time to celebrate Hema's special day. She expressed her joy, stating, "He is here for my birthday, and the biggest gift he gives me is spending time with us."
Reflecting on her life, Hema admitted, "I have been so busy working all these years that I didn’t even realise where the time went by. I am 75 today, I can’t believe it myself! But age is just a number. It depends on how you look after yourself if others are inspired by the work you do. That’s life. I do the work that I get, spend time with my children and grandchildren. Life is beautiful."
