Every WWE Raw Women's Championship Reign Since 2020, Ranked Worst To Best
Daniel Davis
The Raw Women's title has been the main championship for female wrestlers to fight over since 2016. Some of the very best women in WWE history have held the Raw Women's Championship with pride, and have molded the championship into their own. However, not every Raw Women's Championship reign has been memorable with some champions having disastrous reigns with the title. The COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, and some Raw Women's Champions were unfortunate to have a chunk of their title reign take place with no fans physically present in arenas.

Nevertheless, there have been some strong storylines involving the Raw Women's Championship. The title has headlined WrestleMania in the past which shows how important the title is. Unfortunately, some Raw Women's Championship reigns completely missed the mark with some wrestlers having abrupt reigns with the title, but others managed to have a superb run with the gold.
10 Charlotte Flair (5th Reign)
Charlotte Flair kickstarted her then-record equaling fifth Raw Women's Championship when she defeated Rhea Ripley in an outstanding championship match at Money in the Bank 2021. However, this reign may be one of the worst championship reigns in the Queen's illustrious career.
On the following night of Raw, she defended the title against Ripley in a rematch. There was no definitive winner, and the Queen dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Nikki A.S.H. Nikki had won the Money in the Bank ladder match, the night prior and she wasted no time in cashing in on a weakened Charlotte.
9 Nikki A.S.H.
As aforementioned, Nikki A.S.H. prevailed in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match which guaranteed her a future Women's Championship match. Nikki ended Charlotte's abrupt Raw Women's Championship reign, 24 hours later from clinching the briefcase at Money in the Bank.
Some wrestling fans found it hard to take Nikki's new character seriously, and you could see why with how she was booked as Raw Women's Champion. At SummerSlam 2021, she defended the title against former Raw Women's Champions in Charlotte and Rhea Ripley. Inevitably, Nikki's title reign wasn't long for this world with the Queen once again back on top as Raw Women's Champion.
8 Sasha Banks (5th Reign)
Sasha Banks and Bayley were the MVPs of the COVID-19 pandemic era. Whilst, Bayley was in her second SmackDown Women's Championship reign, the pair were WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. However, the Boss dethroned Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship on an episode of Raw in July 2021 to make the Golden Role Models double champions.
It was Sasha's then-record fifth Raw Women's Championship reign. Unfortunately, the Boss had a reputation for poor championship reigns. This title reign wasn't any different, although she was champion for 26 days, she dropped the gold back to Asuka at SummerSlam.
7 Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair won an Elimination Chamber match to become the number one contender for the Raw Women's Championship. The EST of WWE challenged Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Title on night one of WrestleMania 38. Both women knocked it out of the park in the match of the night across both nights of WrestleMania.

Belair got her revenge after she was humiliated by Lynch at SummerSlam 2021, as she took the Raw Women's Championship away from Big Time Becks. Belair's coming up to two months as Raw Women's Champion and she's defended the title once against Sonya Deville. Her second title defense will be against Becky Lynch and Asuka in a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell. It's still early days in Belair's title reign, which she will be hoping will improve.
6 Rhea Ripley
Asuka dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 37, and the Nightmare was touted to have a long run with the title. Despite holding the gold for 98 days, Ripley's Raw Women's Championship reign should have been better.
Ripley feuded with Charlotte throughout but she never looked strong against Charlotte. The highlight of Ripley's Raw Women's Championship reign was a successful title defense against Asuka and Charlotte at WrestleMania Backlash 2021. The result at Hell in a Cell was always going to result in another title match between Ripley and Charlotte, and the Queen ensured that she'd take home the Raw Women's Title.
5 Becky Lynch (1st Reign)
The chunk of Becky Lynch's record-setting 398-day reign as Raw Women's Champion was in 2019 as it started at WrestleMania 35. Nevertheless, the Man still defended the Raw Women's Championship three times in 2020 before she relinquished the title as she announced her pregnancy.
Lynch defeated Asuka in a rematch at the 2020 Royal Rumble to retain the Raw Women's Title. Many felt that Lynch should have dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 36 behind closed doors in the Performance Center, but she handed the title to Asuka in an emotional exchange.
4 Asuka (1st Reign)
The women's Money in the Bank ladder match in 2020 was contested for the Raw Women's Championship. Asuka was the beneficiary of Becky Lynch's pregnancy, and the pair embraced in a beautiful moment on Raw when Lynch unveiled her Raw Women's Title inside the Money in the Bank briefcase. The Empress of Tomorrow's first Raw Women's Championship reign completed her set of becoming a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

Asuka was a fighting champion as she defended the title against the likes of Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. There was a controversial finish at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules in 2020, but one night later, Sasha dethroned Asuka for the Raw Women's Championship in a remarkable match.
3 Charlotte Flair (6th Reign)
Not all of Charlotte's 13 Women's Championship reigns are memorable because of the shortness of her title reigns. The Opportunity kickstarted her record sixth Raw Women's Championship reign at SummerSlam 2021 when she defeated Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match.
Charlotte's title reign lasted 62 days, and the likes of Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, and Doudrop were unable to take the title away from her. However, it was a foregone conclusion that Bianca Belair would dethrone for the title on the October 18, 2021 edition of Raw as Charlotte was heading to SmackDown. That failed to materialize with Charlotte and Becky Lynch exchanging the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships on the October 22, 2021, episode of SmackDown in a frosty segment.
2 Asuka (2nd Reign)
Asuka didn't dwell on her Raw Women's Championship loss for long as she quickly regained the title from Sasha Banks at SummerSlam 2020. The Empress of Tomorrow was booked strongly in her 231-day reign as Raw Women's Champion, which is a testament to her greatness as an elite performer.
Although she defended the title on pay-per-view twice, Asuka was dominant against all of her challengers. The Boss, Zelina Vega, Mickie James, Lana, and Alexa Bliss couldn't end her title reign. It took an impressive performance from Rhea Ripley to bring the curtain down on Asuka's second Raw Women's Championship reign.
1 Becky Lynch (2nd Reign)
Becky Lynch's second Raw Women's Championship reign kickstarted controversially as she swapped the SmackDown Women's Championship with Charlotte Flair which didn't go smoothly. Nevertheless, Lynch was a heel once again, and she began to wear extravagant outfits, and called herself "Big Time Becks."
Lynch was on the top of her game after her return to action from maternity leave. The storytelling in this title reign was exceptional, and she defended the title at Day 1, the 2022 Royal Rumble, the Elimination Chamber, and on night one of WrestleMania 38. Lynch outlasted the likes of Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Doudrop, and Lita. Ultimately, Big Time Becks' spectacular 162-day reign as Raw Women's Champion was curtailed by Belair in a breathtaking title match.
