Bray Wyatt Trends Thanks To Mysterious Teaser At Money In The Bank
Daniel Davis
Despite it not being what WWE likely planned weeks before, much like Forbidden Door for AEW, Money in the Bank wound up being a pretty great show. No, not everyone was all that enamored with the ending, but Liv Morgan having the biggest night of her career was pretty special. Social media has also been abuzz regarding a certain mysterious vignette that was shown towards the end of the event.
A Teaser At Money In The Bank
The package didn't give much away. In fact, it didn't really give anything away. However, it gave off some serious Bray Wyatt vibes. To the point that the former WWE Superstar's name was trending on Twitter during and after the show. If you've still not seen it, or want to watch it again in an attempt to find new clues, you can check out the video below.

The shots, lighting, setting, and soundtrack scream Wyatt. However, some of the easter eggs in the video, many of which aren't immediately obvious, don't point to Wyatt at all. A gold medal has got some fans the clip is the first tease of Gable Steveson's arrival on Raw. It seems unlikely WWE would repackage a gold medal-winning wrestler as a dark brooding character though. Steveson won't need a gimmick.
Who Else Could It Be?
It seems more likely that the medal is a reference to Kurt Angle. Not because the vignette is teasing the Olympian's return, but because it was one of many references in the video to former WWE Superstars. Hat tips to The Dudleys and The Hardyz can be found in there, as well as a license plate that reads Latino Heat. Some fans have pointed out everyone referenced in the clip has connections to Edge, suggesting this may have been a tease for his return after being kicked from The Judgment Day.
Wyatt was released by WWE in 2021 and hasn't wrestled elsewhere since. There was a recent report claiming WWE specifically asked The Eater of Worlds be removed from 2K22's roster when he left. Other released Superstars who were let go before Wyatt, such as Braun Strowman, were left in the game. That would suggest the relationship between Wyatt and WWE is still broken, but certainly doesn't mean it can't be fixed.
