Continuation of a successful comic book movie. Clark Kent again works for the Daily Planet as a journalist, trying to spend time with his new wife Lois and save the world as Superman. A skull-shaped ship appears above the planet, led by an intelligent Brainac who wants to get big cities around the world. Clark tries to stand up to Brainiac, but Clark learns that Brainiac flew to the planet not only because of the cities, but also because of Clark.
