10 Wrestlers With Way Better WrestleMania Records Than You'd Expect

Writer Michael Hansen

When it comes to winning at WrestleMania, the likes of Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker are always names that people think about. However, they're expected to have strong records at the biggest show of the year because they're some of the biggest stars of all time.

But there's plenty of wrestlers who have been surprisingly good at the event over its history, earning a lot more victories than most fans would imagine. Whether it's dominating tag team bouts or picking up an impressive amount of mid-card wins, there are several win/loss records at 'Mania that are far more impressive than you'd think.

10 Rob Van Dam (4-0)

Rob Van Dam is actually undefeated at WrestleMania, having four great victories to his name. While he was always booked well, it's still surprising that he's had such a great record at the event.

RVD won the Money In The Bank ladder match at WrestleMania 22, which was his biggest win at 'Mania. But he also defeated William Regal for the Intercontinental Title, while he and Booker T defended their Tag Team Titles, and RVD was part of the ECW originals team that beat The New Breed.

9 Santino Marella (2-2)

Even though Santino Marella doesn't have a positive win/loss record, the fact that it isn't negative is very surprising. Santino was often treated in a comedic manner, so the fact he picked up two WrestleMania wins is a shock.

One of them came when he dressed up as Santina Marella, winning the Miss WrestleMania battle royal at WrestleMania 25. Meanwhile, his other victory took place when he teamed with Kane, Kofi Kingston, and Big Show to defeat The Corre.

8 Terry Funk (2-0)

Terry Funk in WWE

Terry Funk is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but when you think about him, WrestleMania doesn't normally spring to mind. However, Funk is actually undefeated on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

His first win came alongside Hoss Funk as they beat The Junkyard Dogs at WrestleMania III. Meanwhile, his second win was over a decade later as he and Cactus Jack beat The New Age Outlaws in a Dumpster Rules match at WrestleMania XIV.

7 Big Boss Man (5-1)

Boss Man

When people think about Big Boss Man and WrestleMania, they often think about his poor match with The Undertaker, which was his only 'Mania defeat. However, his record at the show is actually very impressive.

Big Boss Man won five matches at the show throughout his career, having singles wins against Mr. Perfect and Akeem, while also having two tag team wins and an eight-man tag team win too.

6 Razor Ramon (3-1)

When people think about Scott Hall, they typically go to WCW, which is why his 3-1 record at WrestleMania is actually surprising. He was very dominant at the event and scored some big victories against top-tier stars.

Razor Ramon was able to beat Jeff Jarrett and Bob Backlund in singles action. But his most impressive win was, WWE's first televised ladder match, against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X.

5 Hardcore Holly (2-1)

Hardcore Holly

Hardcore Holly was always a great in-ring talent, but not someone who WWE pushed as a credible main event star who got lots of WrestleMania opportunities. However, he won two out of his three matches on The Grandest Stage Of Them All and is actually undefeated in singles action.

Holly beat Al Snow and Billy Gunn in a Hardcore Championship match, and he also won a battle royal for the Hardcore Title as well, proving that he was dominant within that division.

4 Alicia Fox (2-2)

Alicia Fox Entrance

Alicia Fox has always been a consistent performer in WWE's Women's Division, but she has very rarely been pushed as the top star. Because of that, it is quite surprising that she has got such a good WrestleMania record.

While her win/loss is even, the fact she's picked up two big 'Mania victories is likely surprising to most. Both of the victories were multi-women tag team bouts, but Fox was still able to earn the win in them.

3 Virgil (2-0)

Virgil

Virgil is often looked upon as a talent who isn't overly serious due to the fact he was often working for Ted DiBiase. However, Virgil is actually undefeated at WrestleMania, having won both of his matches at the show.

One of those bouts just so happened to be against Ted DiBiase himself, winning the match via count-out. On top of that, he won an eight-man tag team match at WrestleMania VIII.

2 Edge (7-4)

Edge Mania 26

Edge is always going to be a big threat to win matches, but anytime someone wrestles in over 10 WrestleMania matches, more often than not their win/loss record isn't this good. Because Edge was so often the heel, 'Mania was the place he would get his comeuppance.

However, while he lost a few times, he mainly dominated. He and Christian were very successful at the show, while on his own he's beaten the likes of Mick Foley, Randy Orton, and Alberto Del Rio.

1 Shane McMahon (4-2)

Shane v Miz

Considering the fact that Shane McMahon isn't a full-time wrestler, the fact he has four WrestleMania victories to his name is a surprise. Shane is often brought in for big matches throughout his career, and that's happened several times at 'Mania.

He has loses against both The Undertaker and AJ Styles, but aside from that, he's been impressive. Shane has wins against his father, X-Pac, The Miz, and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a tag team match, which saw Daniel Bryan's return to wrestling take place.
