WWE booking a feud between two legends like Steve Austin and Eddie Guerrero should have been a tremendous idea. However, it turned into a disappointment with segments doing little to make fans care about their match.

Guerrero bothering Austin and Debra at a bar was the start of the drama escalating. Austin was livid when Eddie interrupted him trying to sing karaoke. The bar segments came off weird, and WWE would have been better off telling the story in the ring.

9 Approaching Dominik Mysterio At Playground

The infamous story of Eddie Guerrero revealing he was Dominik Mysterio’s birth father is still referenced in WWE today with Dominik and Rey feuding. However, one chilling segment that deserves to be remembered as much as the ladder match came at a playground.

Guerrero had a soft-spoken sweet demeanor approaching Dominik, who knew him as a family friend he called Uncle Eddie. This made it more ruthless than Guerrero was clearly planting seeds in his head to distrust Rey and start their feud.

8 Getting Caught In Shower With Victoria On GTV

The relationship between Eddie Guerrero and Chyna became a tremendous angle for both performers. Chyna and Eddie were opposites that attracted to form outstanding chemistry. However, it ended in a manner that exposed Guerrero for being a heel all along.

GTV segments filmed wrestlers in controversial moments without them knowing and caught Eddie cheating in the shower with other women. Victoria wasn’t known yet in WWE, but she was one of the ladies in the video that caused Chyna to dump him.

7 Getting Tricked While Kurt Angle Attacked Chavo Guerrero

The Smackdown Six moniker started due to the tag team feud of Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs Chavo and Eddie Guerrero vs Edge and Rey Mysterio competing for the tag titles. All six wrestlers faced off in various matches throughout the months.

WWE had a great series of segments that started with Eddie conning his old friend Benoit into a room to get attacked by Chavo. However, the follow up was even better when Benoit tried to tell Eddie that Chavo was in the same room getting attacked weeks later. Eddie thought it was Benoit trying to pull the same trick before Angle walked out after beating down Chavo.

6 Stealing Ric Flair's Royal Rumble Number

An underrated part of previous Royal Rumble PPVs that WWE should bring back today is backstage segments of the talents picking their numbers. Ric Flair and Eddie Guerrero may have had the most entertaining exchange in 2005 that deserves more talk.

Eddie picked an early entry spot and switched his with Flair’s favorable spot when they interacted. However, Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long forced Guerrero to give it back to have their original picks. Eddie still entertained with this perfect but strange moment.

5 Masked Kurt Angle Costing Him WWE Championship

The rivalry between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle seemed to end after WrestleMania 20 when Eddie moved into a new feud with JBL. Angle suffering an injury saw him becoming Smackdown General Manager during his time away from the ring.

WWE had Angle selling a bigger injury by using a wheelchair. However, it turned out to be a lie when a masked figure named El Gran Luchadore kept interfering in Guerrero’s matches. Angle was unmasked after costing Eddie his final title shot against JBL in a steel cage.

4 Brutally Attacking Tajiri For Damaging His Car

Eddie Guerrero had a short-lived tag team with Tajiri when Chavo Guerrero got injured, and he needed a last-minute replacement. The WWE Tag Team Championship win for Eddie and Tajiri was short-lived before they dropped it a few weeks later.

However, this was more pivotal to Guerrero’s character when he turned heel again by brutally attacking Tajiri. The strange motive for such an attack featured Eddie upset that Tajiri unintentionally damaged his low rider car.

3 Backstage Segments Faking Illness With Batista

The heel character of Eddie Guerrero was at its peak in 2005 during his feud with Rey Mysterio. WWE placed Eddie in a program with World Champion Batista that saw him being friendly again. The underlying story was that Guerrero was trying to con Batista into thinking they were friends.

Batista appeared one step ahead of Eddie every time, including a night when they were tag partners. Guerrero was faking an illness with the claim of cramps and food poisoning. The payoff came when Batista tricked Eddie into saying he was healthy enough to compete.

2 Getting Kicked Out Of Playboy Mansion

WWE fans were unsure on how to view Eddie Guerrero when he was in his relationship with Chyna. Eddie started showing a face side for the first time since Chyna was a beloved character, and they were on the same page.

Things changed when Chyna posed for Playboy and Guerrero turned into a jealous boyfriend. WWE filmed segments of Eddie trying to sneak into the Playboy Mansion to stop Chyna before getting stopped every single time in comical fashion.

1 Using Sewer Truck To Embarrass Big Show

An overlooked feud of Eddie Guerrero’s WWE tenure came against Big Show towards the end of 2003. WWE wanted someone to win the United States Championship from Eddie since they were placing Guerrero in the WWE Championship picture a few months later.

One of the wildest and strangest segments came when Eddie had a sewer truck and sprayed Big Show with a disgusting brown texture meant to disgust everyone. This was nowhere near as memorable as Kurt Angle doing it with milk or Steve Austin with beer.
