Wrestling fans are always excited when the opportunity to meet their idols outside of the ring presents itself. Seeing a main event star at an Axxess event or out in public can be a huge deal for people, but the wrestlers themselves are normal people and they have their own idols and heroes.

A lot of top tier wrestling stars actually grow up as fans and that means they want to meet their idols as well, which is something that happens plenty of times when they're younger. Wrestlers being able to meet their own idols is always exciting for them as well, and while it is often meeting older wrestlers, sometimes their heroes come from a different world, whether it be movies or music.

Drew McIntyre has yet to physically meet his idol, Ally McCoist, but after winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36, he did get to speak with the soccer player. McIntyre grew up as a major Rangers fan, and McCoist was one of the top stars at that time.
