In 2019, fans got to see their first sight of The Bunny when she emerged through the ring along with The Butcher and The Blade. Throughout her time in the promotion, she has feuded with the likes of Tay Melo, Anna Jay, and Kris Statlander. She has wrestled across AEW’s various shows, appearing on Dynamite, Rampage, Dark, and Dark: Elevation. She has even had championship matches in AEW, facing Jade Cargill for the TBS Title and Hikaru Shida for the Regina Di WAVE Title. In addition, she also has fantastic character work as well. Unfortunately, The Bunny has been off of AEW recently due to an injury sustained against AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter.

The Bunny Sustained An Injury In A Match With Jamie Hayter
After making her return from an injury in 2022, The Bunny looked to establish herself as a major threat in the AEW women’s division. After facing Shida for the Regina Di WAVE title unsuccessfully, she turned her attention to the AEW Women’s World Title. She challenged Jamie Hayter to a World Title Eliminator match, where if she won, she would receive a title shot against Hayter. However, this match resulted in an injury that has seen The Bunny be out of action since February 8, 2023.
As reported by PWInsider, it was believed that The Bunny had possibly sustained a concussion or a broken orbital bone during her match against Hayter. Mike Johnson of PWInsider said at the time, “AEW Women's Champion Jamie Hayter and The Bunny went to a finish prematurely after concern about The Bunny having possibly being injured during the bout.” In that report, it also said that The Bunny was set to undergo testing to figure out what the injury was. There is no reported date as to when The Bunny will be back in AEW.
The Bunny Has A Ton Of Potential In AEW
After making her name in promotions such as Impact Wrestling, Shimmer, and more, The Bunny was signed to AEW in 2019. She initially debuted with her Allie character, even teaming with Brandi Rhodes in the Nightmare Sisters. But, The Bunny is the character that most fans have come to get to know her as in AEW. She has been the manager for The Butcher and The Blade since The Bunny's first appearance when they attacked Cody Rhodes. From there, The Bunny has further gone on to make a name for herself in AEW’s women’s division.

While she has wrestled against the likes of Ruby Soho, Skye Blue, Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, Red Velvet, and Leyla Hirsch, The Bunny’s biggest feud in AEW has been alongside Penelope Ford against Tay Melo and Anna Jay. All four women were involved in an instant classic in their New Year’s Smash street fight. Ever since forming their alliance, The Bunny and Ford have been seen providing support to one another numerous times in their matches. In addition, as previously mentioned, The Bunny has also been involved in high stakes matches, such as in tournaments and championship bouts.
