Summary

  • Lynne Curtin's time on RHOC was filled with personal and marital struggles, including her daughters' rebellious behavior and her husband's financial dishonesty.
  • Lynne divorced Frank in 2012, then re-filed for divorce in 2019, and she has been open about her desire to find a new man who enjoys outdoor activities and vacations.
  • Since leaving the show, Lynne has focused on her jewelry business, the Lynne Curtin Collection, and remains close with past and present RHOC cast members, including Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge.

Lynne Curtin appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County during seasons 4 and 5, and there's curiosity surrounding what she's been up to since her departure from the show. When Lynne first joined the cast of RHOC in season 4, she was married to her ex-husband, Frank Curtin, and struggling to raise two rebellious teenage daughters, Raquel and Alexa Curtin.

The former housewife was criticized by Gretchen Rossi for not parenting her children correctly, as her offspring were drinking underage and staying out past curfew. In season 5, Lynne's marriage to Frank was falling apart due to his dishonesty about the couple's finances. The infamous scene at Lynne's house, where Raquel answered the door for a landlord who showed up with an unexpected eviction notice, went down in Real Housewives history.

Lynne And Frank Divorced In 2012

In 2012, Lynne filed for divorce from Frank after 22 years of marriage. The divorce was called off in 2018 and re-filed in April 2019. After refiling, the RHOC alum participated in the Bravo Digital Series Life After Bravo. Megan Segura hosted the show, and Lynne dished on her ideal man. "Just somebody chill, a guy to chill with and be fun. Somebody to work out with, somebody to go to the beach with, someone outdoorsy, maybe that likes to go on vacation a lot." Don't expect to see the 67-year-old on a dating app anytime soon. Lynne prefers to meet eligible Orange County men in person "the old-fashioned way."

Lynne's Professional And Personal Life Post RHOC

Lynne's daughters Raquel and Alexa were RHOC children who became rising stars on the show and are no longer teenagers. Raquel is 33 years old and has an 8-year-old son named Carter Peterson. The mother of one is a model for Lynne's jewelry website. Additionally, she contributed photos to a racy modeling site called Suicide Girls under the pseudonym "Suttin Suicide."

Raquel's 31-year-old sisterAlexa Curtin had several run-ins with the law that made headlines. The most recent charge was in January 2021, when Alexa faced a jail sentence of 68 days. Alexa pleaded guilty to drug possession, vandalism, theft, and driving under the influence without a valid license. Both RHOC daughters are keeping a low profile on social media.

Lynne isn't on reality TV anymore but still keeps herself busy. The cuff business she started on RHOC, called "Cuff Love," has expanded into a jewelry line. Her Lynne Curtin Collection designs are sold online and at boutiques (and during trunk shows) around Orange County. The mom is a licensed aesthetician and gave Emily Simpson a hydra-facial at the OC Peel Bar. Lynne remains close with other past and present RHOC cast members, including fellow grandmother Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Peggy Tanous. She was a guest on season 6 of the show and in season 10 at Tamra's baby shower for her granddaughter.

Lynne's time on RHOC only lasted two seasons, and she now enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandson. She is out on the town searching for a new man and continuing to grow her jewelry collection. Lynne had some difficult moments on the show but became more independent because of the experience. While she's no longer on the show, Lynne undoubtedly was part of some of the best Real Housewives of Orange County seasons.
