Season 13 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ran from December 6, 2020 to April 18, 2021, with the three parts of the reunion airing on April 25, May 2, and May 9. As mentioned, this premiere date was a little later than usual, and production shut down in November after a positive case of COVID-19.

"People don't realize how hard it was to film during COVID," Kandi Burruss told Entertainment Tonight. "Normally we have a lot of events where we invite a lot of friends, do a lot of stuff like that. We weren't allowed to do any of that this year ... And it took a long time before the season actually got jumped off, because we didn't really know who was going to be a part of the new season. This was a different type of year, so don't be so judgmental."

When the reunion finally rolled around, the women dressed like they were heading back to the dungeon with Bolo. They talked about how they gained weight during quarantine. And there were arguments, of course, specifically between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams and Moore and Drew Sidora.
