Tenille Dashwood, formerly known as Emma in WWE, has shared photos of a skin condition that she has previously kept hidden.

If Roman Reigns revelation that he has leukemia, and had it for the first time 11 years ago, has taught wrestling fans anything, it's that we never really know what people are going through behind closed doors. When Reigns made that announcement on Raw, it probably hit home with a lot of people how poorly they've treated him over the last few years, simply because he has been pushed by Vince McMahon.

It can be difficult to separate the fact that the men and women we see on Raw and SmackDown Live are not the same people when the cameras are off. In fact, most of us don't want to make that connection. Pro wrestling is at its best when the line between real and staged is blurred. However, always bear in mind that someone might be going through something. That rule should apply to life, not just wrestling.

Tenille Dashwood has hammered that point home on Instagram this week. For those unfamiliar with the name, she was formerly known as WWE's Emma. The Aussie pro wrestler shared some photos on social media this week revealing that she suffers from psoriasis. A condition that, as you can see from Dashwood's photos, severely affects the skin of those who have it.

Dashwood posted the photos and revealed her skin condition to the world in recognition of World Psoriasis Day. She also pointed out the scar on her spine from a surgery to repair a herniated disc and that she is currently recovering from a second shoulder surgery. As you can see from the fourth and final photo, her psoriasis is currently a lot better than it was just a short time ago.

Harking back to the beginning of this article, the most telling line from Dashwood's post was "You just never know what someone is going through." Though obviously not as extreme as what Reigns is currently dealing with, Dashwood has been living with her skin condition for years. When she was Emma in WWE fans didn't know about that, but it was a part of her life. We really never know what someone might be going through when out of the spotlight.
