Indian moms belonging to middle-class wouldn’t have any difficulty identifying with Seema Pahwa’s character in the film. She loves her daughter and husband, though she may not be showing that love in public. You got to know what she really wanted through subtle shifts in the mood. It was a true-to-life behaviour alright.
