Professional Background
Dr. Ash is an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He is the Vice-Chair, Director of Clinical Operations, Vice-Chair of Quality and Informatics, and Medical Director for Radiology as well as the MR Safety Medical Director for the Health System.
Dr. Ash received his medical degree the University of Kansas and completed his radiology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He then proceeded to complete an abdominal imaging fellowship at the University of California San Diego. He is dual boarded in both radiology and magnetic resonance safety. His interests include advanced liver imaging and MRI safety.
Dr. Ash is an active member in the Society of Abdominal Radiology, including being a member of the Hepatocellular Carcinoma Disease Focus Panel. He also routinely volunteers at the JayDoc Clinic, a medical student run free health clinic.
