Rusev Reacts To The Lana-Bobby Lashley Drama On Raw

It's been almost seven months since Bobby Lashley and Lana began their on-screen relationship, but it looks like it could be ending any day now.
The storyline married couple engaged in a heated argument during yesterday's edition of Monday Night Raw. During his match with No Way Jose, Lashley left the ring and told his on-screen wife to shut up. Lashley even claimed that he might need to find a new wife.
It really is only a matter of time until Lashley and Lana ended their "marriage." And Rusev, the real-life husband of Lana, is loving every bit of it.
Rusev's feud with Lashley and his wife first began on the Sept. 30 edition of Monday Night Raw, when the two of them started kissing during the former's match against Seth Rollins.
A shocked Rusev could only look on, and the segment was interrupted when "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt showed up and attacked Rollins. From restraining orders to multiple arrests and a restaurant brawl, there's been no shortage of drama in the Rusev-Lana-Lashley storyline.

The entire program did wonders for Rusev, who enjoyed a resurgence in popularity with the WWE Universe, while Lana and Lashley further established themselves as strong heels.
Rusev's feud with Lana and Lashley has been over for several weeks now, and he's been off of television for most of 2020. Rusev is reportedly in a contract dispute with WWE, though Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that he has "plenty of time" remaining on his current contract.
What's Next For Rusev?
With the Lana-Lashley marriage about to end, it wouldn't be a surprise if she wound up reuniting with her real-life husband on television. There's little reason for WWE to continue the Lana vs. Rusev feud; it simply ran its course. The two work together very well on television, and maybe a babyface turn for Lana is for the best. Given Rusev's increased popularity, it wouldn't make sense to turn him heel when he returns to television full time.
