You can achieve a beautiful pastel French tip manicure at home in just a few simple steps. All you need is a few cotton swabs, a nail file and buff, nail polish remover, French tip nail color, a base nail polish, a top coat, and a nail stamper for the tip. Once you've cleaned, buffed, and filed your nails, you can apply the base coat and use the nail stamper. Darlene Sritapan, OPI's North America education and capability manager, tells Real Simple, "Simply paint a couple of coats of nail polish in the color you want for your French tips on the nail stamper, then gently push the tip of your fingernail into the stamp at an angle."

After you stamp the French tip onto your nail, take a cotton swab and dip it into nail polish remover to clean up any polish on your fingers and skin. Then, apply a layer of the top coat and you have a gorgeous pastel French tip manicure that looks fresh out of the salon.
