[Report] Backstage Details On Scrapped Plans For Bray Wyatt At Hell In A Cell

For the second straight year, "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt switched brands at the WWE Draft.
After spending the past year on SmackDown Live, the former Universal Champion was revealed as one of Raw's 2020 draft picks. And we already have an idea regarding Wyatt's next feud.
Zelina Vega went to check on Andrade in the ring after he lost a singles match to Angel Garza. Suddenly, the The Fiend and Alexa Bliss both appeared in the ring, and they performed the Sister Abigail finisher simultaneously on Andrade and Vega, respectively.
With The Fiend now on Monday Night Raw, it all but confirms that WWE is moving away from a highly-anticipated feud that was expected and supposedly planned dating back to last year.
According to a report from Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co, there was a "plan" for Wyatt to face Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell for the Universal Championship. Davis noted that Wyatt's new Firefly Fun House character, Wobbly Walrus, was a mockery of Paul Heyman, who's now working with Reigns.
But Wobbly Walrus hasn't appeared in several weeks now. And with Reigns competing on SmackDown Live, it doesn't look like a feud with The Fiend will be happening now.

It was reported late last year that Reigns would face face The Fiend at WrestleMania 36 for the Universal Championship. But Vince McMahon reportedly decided to scrap those plans, and Goldberg defeated Wyatt for the title at Super ShowDown.
The plan was for Reigns to face Goldberg at WrestleMania, but the former removed himself from the show due to health and safety concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Braun Strowman replaced Reigns, and he defeated Goldberg to become the new Universal Champion.
Wasted Opportunity By WWE
WWE had several opportunities to run the Reigns-Wyatt feud, but even after the former took the Universal title off of him at Payback, the company decided to move in a completely different direction. Wyatt never got a rematch against Reigns, and this highly-anticipated feud was surprisingly scrapped. WWE can always draw back to it down the road, but Reigns vs. Wyatt won't be happening any time soon.
