  • Baldwin Brothers

    The Baldwins are comprised of the four brothers all of who became actors. Alec (second from the left) is the oldest, and he started his career in film with the 1987 film Forever, Lulu. Daniel (second from the right) is the second oldest; he got his start in 1988 in the made for television movie Too Good to Be True. The second youngest is William "Billy" Baldwin (far left), he began acting in 1989 with the movie The Preppie Murder. Stephen Baldwin (far right) is the youngest and he started his film career in 1988 with The Beast.

  • Affleck Brothers

    Ben started acting in 1981 with the film The Dark End of the Street whereas his brother Casey started in 1988 with Lemon Sky. Both brothers would share the screen for the first time in Good Will Hunting (1997) directed by Gus Van Sant and written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

  • Hemsworth Brothers

    Chris and Liam Hemsworth are both relatively new to Hollywood but have managed to land roles in substantial franchises as well as start in the same year. Liam is best known for his role in The Hunger Games, while audiences will recognize Chris for his lead role in Thor.

  • Fanning Sisters

    In 2001 Dakota Fanning played the part of Lucy Diamond Dawson in I Am Sam, which her younger sister, Elle played the two-year-old version of the same character. Both of the Fanning sisters grew up in front of the camera and as time passed they grew in prominence as well as their ability to act in various roles.

    Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal are the offspring of director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner. Maggie got her start by appearing in films directed by her father while Jake got his start at age 11 by playing Billy Crystal’s son in the 1991 film City Stickers

  • Swayze Brothers

    Don and Patrick Swayze were born to choreographer Patsy Yvonne Helen and engineer draft Jesse Wayne Swayze. Younger brother Don began his career in the 1980s and has appeared in numerous TV shows and films. Older brother Patrick began his career by starring as a replacement playing Danny Zuko in the Broadway production of Grease, however he wasn’t known to the film industry until his role as a big brother to C. Thomas Howell and Rob Lowe in the 1983 film The Outsiders. On Sept. 14, 2009 Patrick died after battling pancreatic cancer. 

  • Deschanel Sisters

    Zooey and Emily Deschanel were born into a showbiz family. Their mother, Mary Jo Deschanel, is an actress who appeared in Twin Peaks and their father, Caleb Deschanel, is and Academy Award-nominated cinematographer. Zooey got her start at the young age of 17, playing a model in the 1997 TV sitcom Veronica’s Closet, but it wasn’t until her she got her first film role in the 1999 movie Mumford, that she quit school and pursued her career. Older sister Emily got her start in the movie industry in the 1994 film It Could Happen to You, however her defining role didn’t happen until 2005 when she began playing Dr. Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan in the hit TV series Bones

  • Olsen Sisters

    Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and younger sister Elizabeth Olsen are all American actresses born to parents David and Janette Olsen. The twins got their start playing the role of Michelle Tanner in the hit TV sitcom Full House, but once the show ended in 1995, they went on to star in other films like To Grandmother’s House We Go, Double, Double Toil and Trouble, and How the West Was Fun. They also created their own fashion line. Little sister Elizabeth began acting at the age of four, however it wasn’t until 2011 that career started to take off. Her role as Martha in Martha Marcy May Marlene is known as her breakout role. She gained greater visibility for her roles in the films Avengers: Age of Ultron, Silent House and Godzilla

  • The Quaids

    Randy Quaid studied acting at the University of Houston, where he was discovered by director Peter Bogdanovich. His first film, directed by Bogdanovich and titled The Last Picture Show, starred Jeff Bridges and Cybill Shepherd. Dennis also went to the University of Houston but dropped out before graduating to pursue a career in acting. Early roles include Enemy of Mine, The Big Easy, and Innerspace. Dennis met his second wife Meg Ryan while filming Innerspace. 

  • The Francos

    The Dennis all started out on television. Betsy Franco, mother to both James and Dave, had a recurring role in General Hospital. James guest starred on Pacific Blue and eventually got a lead role in Freaks and Geeks. He late moved on to film starring in 127 Hours and the Spider-Man trilogy. Dave started as a guest star on 7th Heaven and also worked his way into the film industry appearing in films like 21 Jump Street, Now You See Me, and Warm Bodies. All three Francos can be found in The Broken Tower, which James wrote and directed. 

  • The Fondas

    Jane Fonda's film career began in 1960 with a lead role in Tall Story. Seen as a prominent up-and-comer, she won a Golden Globe Award for her role Walk on the Wild Side. She was in such demand that she almost averaged two movies a year in the 60s. Her brother Peter also began acting in 1962 with various guest star roles on television, and in 1969 starred and produced Easy Rider, which also stars Dennis Hopper, who also directed the film. 

  • The Batemans

    Justine Bateman is best known for her role as Mallory Keaton in Family Ties and has had a steady stream of work on television appearing in shows such as Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and Desperate Housewives. Her brother Jason is known for his comedic timing, playing the straight man in the film franchise Horrible Bosses and on television on the acclaimed series Arrested Development. Justine guest starred in an episode of Arrested Development titled "Family Ties" in which Michael (Jason) believes Nellie (Justine) is his long-lost-sister. 

  • The Cusacks

    John and Joan Cusack have worked together on the several films, including Sixteen Candles, Say Anything…, Grosse Point Blank, and High Fidelity, but both Cusacks have separately accomplished a lot on their own. Joan has received two Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in Working Girl and In & Out. She also received four consecutive Emmy Award nominations for her work on the television series Shameless.

    John rose to fame for his work in romantic-comedies with projects like Sixteen Candles, One Crazy Summer, and Say Anything… but since the 90’s he has focused on broadening his range with roles in Pushing Tin, Being John Malkovich, and High Fidelity

  • The Kardashians

    The Kardashians are at the center of a reality TV empire, whose crown jewel is E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The success of the series has created the spin-offs Kourntey and Kim Take New York and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami. Although most of the family is known for their reality television series, Kim Kardashian West has acted in the films Deep in the Valley and Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor

  • The Wayans Brothers

    Keanen Ivory, Shawn, Marlon and Damon Wayans are four brothers who have worked as directors, screenwriters, comedians and actors. Keanen Ivory has worked as an actor but is best known for writing White Chicks and Littleman. Shawn and Marlon are best known for their work on The Wayans Bros. and White Chicks. The oldest in the group is Damon Wayans and has starred and co-written a number of films and television shows including The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne, and My Wife and Kids

  • The Dillons

    Matt Dillon made his film debut in 1979 with Over the Edge. He became a teen idol by starring in My Bodyguard, Tex, and The Outsiders. He was considered one of the best actors within his age group according to movie critic Roger Ebert. Kevin’s most recognizable role is as Johnny “Drama” Chase in Entourage – a role that garnered him three Emmy Award nominations. He reprised the role for this summer's Entourage movie. 

  • The Wilsons

    Comedic actors and brothers Owen and Luke Wilson got their film debut as the stars of Wes Anderson’s film Bottle Rocket. They would join forces again with Anderson in The Royal Tenenbaums in 2001. 

  • Arquettes

    Rosanna, Richmond, Patricia, Alexis, and David Arquette are third generation actors and actresses in the Arquette family tree. Rosanna was the first to get into acting and is most recognized as Jody (AKA the girl with the piercings) in Pulp Fiction. Richmond is the second oldest and has appeared in Fight Club, Zodiac, and Se7en. One of Patricia’s most notable role was in True Romance as Alabama Whitman, and she recently won an Academy Award for her supporting role in Boyhood.  David the youngest in the group is best known for his work with Drew Barrymore in the romantic comedy Never Been Kissed and the horror movie Scream

  • Maclaine and Beatty

    Shirley MacLaine and her brother Warren Beatty began acting in the late 1950s. Both have been nominated and won awards from the Academy and the Golden Globes. Maclaine won Best Actress in 1983 for her role in Terms of Enderment and Beatty won in the category of Best Director for the movie Reds (1981).

  • The Mowrys

    Identical twins Tia and Tamera are best know for their ABC/WB TV show Sister, Sister. Their younger brother Tahj Mowry was also featured on the show as three separate characters Sammy, Cousin Tahj, and T.J. Henderson. Tahj ended up with a series of his own on the WB called Smart Guy, which ran for three seasons. 

  • The Rosses

    Evan and Tracee Ellis are a half brother and sister sharing a mother in the form of legendary singer Diana Ross. Evan's first role was in the film ATL (2006) and Tracee Ellis's was Far Harbor (1996), but both worked with Queen Latifah in the movie Life Support.
