10 Randy Orton Vs. Daniel Bryan - Hell In A Cell 2013
The heat between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan in late 2013 was off the charts. Bryan was the perennial favorite and Orton was one of the most hated wrestlers in the company. The two concluded their rivalry in the confines of the Hell in a Cell structure for the vacant WWE Championship.
Shawn Michaels had history with both men and it was interesting to see where his loyalties were as the special guest referee. This wasn't the best in their series of matches but it was a significant victory for Orton as he once again captured a WWE Title inside Hell in a Cell.
9 Randy Orton Vs. Triple H Vs. Big Show Vs. John Cena - Raw 6/15/09
Batista relinquished the WWE Championship as the injury bug struck him once again. A golden opportunity presented Randy Orton, Triple H, Big Show, and John Cena in a fatal-4-way match to crown a new WWE Champion.
Orton, Triple H, and Cena worked as a cohesive unit as they tried to remove The World's Largest Athlete from the equation. Show was dominant throughout the contest, but Orton bided his time on the outside. There was a chain of events that led to Orton becoming a five-time World Champion as he nailed Show with a devastating RKO to prevail.
8 Randy Orton Vs. Christian - SmackDown 5/6/11
Just five days removed from defeating Alberto Del Rio for his maiden World Heavyweight Title at Extreme Rules 2011, Christian had his work cut out for him as he defended his newly won title against Randy Orton. They faced off the May 6, 2011 edition of SmackDown.
The match was competitive and went back and forth, and it was the beginnings of a rivalry that dominated the summer of 2011 on the SmackDown side of things. Ultimately, Captain Charisma sustained heartbreak as Orton leaped over Christian and countered his springboard attempt by catching him with the RKO. It was the first time in seven years that Orton had held the iconic Big Gold Belt.
7 Legacy Vs. Triple H, Batista & Shane McMahon - Backlash 2009
In unique circumstances, Randy Orton and his lapdogs, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes of Legacy collided with WWE Champion Triple H, Batista, and Shane McMahon in a six-man tag team match at Backlash 2009. There was a caveat as The Cerebral Assassin's WWE Title was up for grabs.

This was a remarkable contest with The Viper taking a backseat for large portions of the match with DiBiase and Rhodes doing his dirty work. Nonetheless, in the closing stages, Orton nailed The Game with his patented RKO but he kicked out. Triple H momentarily delayed the inevitable, before Orton clocked The Cerebral Assassin in the head with a sickening punt kick to regain the World Title.
6 Randy Orton Vs. Sheamus Vs. Edge Vs. Chris Jericho Vs. John Cena Vs. Wade Barrett - Night Of Champions 2010
Fans were in store of a treat when former World Champions Randy Orton, Edge, John Cena, and Chris Jericho, along with reigning WWE Champion Sheamus and Wade Barrett battled in a six-pack elimination challenge for the WWE Title at Night of Champions 2010. The Viper wasted little time by eliminating Y2J with an RKO.
Orton was the standout player in the latter half of 2010 and he dominated this match. He carried on his imperious form by eliminating Barrett with his patented RKO and lastly Sheamus with another RKO to become World Champion for the sixth time.
5 Randy Orton Vs. John Cena - TLC 2013
Randy Orton and John Cena had heated battles for years on end, but none was more important than their encounter at TLC 2013. Randy Orton entered the match as the reigning WWE Champion and John Cena was the World Heavyweight Champion.
Neither man was aTLC match specialist, so they had to step up their game as the winner would unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles. This wasn't an instant classic by any stretch of the imagination but it was still a good match. Ultimately, the night belonged to Orton who became the final World Heavyweight Champion, which was unified with his WWE Title.
4 Randy Orton Vs. Drew McIntyre - Hell In A Cell 2020
A rejuvenated Randy Orton was certainly what WWE needed during the Coronavirus pandemic. At Hell in a Cell 2020, The Viper challenged Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title inside Hell in a Cell. Orton was 3-0 in WWE Title matches in The Devil's Favorite Playground and he was looking to keep that record intact.

This was an outstanding Hell in a Cell match with Orton disguised as a cameraman who took advantage by taking McIntyre by surprise. The Scottish Psychopath crashed and burned through the announce table. Orton capitalized and became a 14-time World Champion.
3 Randy Orton Vs. Christian - SummerSlam 2011
Randy Orton lost his World Heavyweight Championship in controversial circumstances to Christian at Money in the Bank 2011, and he was hellbent on recapturing the title in a No Holds Barred match at SummerSlam 2011. Orton and Christian's chemistry was brilliant, and fans were guaranteed magnificent matches between the rivals.
The Viper nailed Christian with some brutal kendo stick shots, but Captain Charisma wasn't going down without a fight. Just like his win over Christian in May, Orton dropped him with an RKO for the win, this time on the steel steps.
2 Randy Orton Vs. Triple H - No Mercy 2007
Randy Orton was awarded the WWE Championship at the start of No Mercy 2007 but he dropped the title to Triple H in an impromptu match. Orton wasted no time in invoking his mandatory rematch clause by challenging The Game in a Last Man Standing match.
They knocked it out of the park, and this was arguably the best match in the history of Orton and Triple H's storied rivalry. Orton employed an aggressive style throughout the match, which proved to be fruitful as he overcame The Game to become the new WWE Champion.
1 Randy Orton Vs. Chris Benoit - SummerSlam 2004
SummerSlam 2004 is virtually blacklisted from WWE's archives due to Chris Benoit's involvement. Randy Orton had to come of age, as he sought to become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion in WWE history, when he challenged Benoit for the title.
This was one of the best matches of Orton's career, as he matched Benoit every stepped of the way. Benoit tried to execute the Crossface on Orton, but The Legend Killer superbly countered it with a brilliant RKO for his first World Heavyweight Title win.
