Shah Rukh Khan recently made his comeback in Pathaan. The Sidharth Anand directorial which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham continues its successful run at the box office. And now, it looks like Pathaan 2 is already in the works.

At the first media interaction post Pathaan's release, Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Sidharth Anand to talk about the film. After the director dropped a major hint at the possibility of a sequel, SRK said that it will be "bigger and better."

He said, "Inshaallah whenever he [Sidharth Anand] wants me to do Pathaan 2, I'll be bigger and better."

Pathaan's ending was full of teasers for the upcoming instalments. The climax had a tie-in with the rest of the YRF Spy Universe featuring Hrithik Roshan's Kabir from War and Salman Khan's Tiger from the Tiger films. 

Salman Khan featured in a cameo in Pathaan. After an action sequence, Salman's Tiger tells Pathaan that he'll need him for a future mission.

Pathaan was released on January 25, 2022.
