Long ago, there was One Island, Known simply as the Dusk and Dawn Island. Part of the Island was ruled by Darkrai and his Umbreon Army, and the other Half Ruled by Cresselia and her Espeons. 5000 Years ago a war began between the two. It ripped the whole Island in half. Literally. 200 years later, Humans found them, and inhabited the land. Darkrai and Cresselia disappeared. But their Eeveelutions stayed. Today, The Islands look like this.

The Darker Island is Dusk Island and the Lighter Is Dawn Island. They are both visible at Sunrise and Sunset. Dusk Island is visible at night but Dawn Island isn't, and Dawn Island is visible in the day But Dusk Island isn't.

The RP is about solving the Big Mystery of Why they do that.
