Michael Jordan Promotional Video For Packers Vs Patriots Sparks Hilarious Response From LeBron James

Writer Daniel Cobb

Perhaps the argument over who the NBA's GOAT is will carry on for a very long time, but most people already have their minds made up.

Michael Jordan, though, will always be on the other side of the coin. It used to be Kobe Bryant vs. Jordan, then came LeBron vs. Jordan, and there's no telling who'll be next. Jayson Tatum maybe? He's already playing like Kobe so...

LeBron would love to prove himself as the greatest NBA star of all time, yet he'd probably have to add a few more rings to step up a bit more.

The new Los Angeles Lakers superstar was seemingly primed to go one-on-one with the former Chicago Bulls great while watching a clip of MJ going on about proving one's GOATness over the weekend.

Jordan likely had everyone watching the video feeling like there was going to be some huge announcement regarding himself and LeBron. But by the time the vid neared its end, it was apparent that the legend was teeing up the massive NFL showdown between the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots.

The match airs next Sunday and is likely to have everyone glued to their television set. So, of course, only someone of Jordan's status was going to promote it.

James, however, claimed to be ready before realizing what was really going on. And who could blame him? His Airness really made it seem like he was referring to himself and LeBron.

While this was all done in jest, there's not a soul around who wouldn't like to see a 55-year-old MJ go head to head with a 33-year-old James - and possibly beat him.

Unfortunately, though, that will probably never happen. So we will all simply have to settle for Packers vs Patriots this coming weekend.

To be fair, though, that isn't a bad alternative.
