Mario's brother Luigi has apparently won a mansion, a dark haunted mansion. He enters to see if Mario and the rest are waiting for him to celebrate but what he finds in the dark are ghosts! Professor E. Gadd comes to aid Luigi in his adventure to suck up the ghosts back into their resting place and rescue Mario and his friends.
