Matt Brown of the Alaskan Bush People is sending out well wishes to his followers for 2022 and is sharing some of his recovery secrets too.

The eldest son of the Alaskan Bush People, Matt Brown, took to his social media to share his positive thoughts on the year ahead, which included a quick recovery video. As his followers know, Matt has been living on a farm alone and working towards healing himself after spending time in rehab. The son of Billy and Ami Brown even spent Christmas alone while his family celebrated on North Star Ranch.

Since the Brown family left the bush of Alaska, a lot has changed for Matt. Fans learned that when he was still on the show, he had been accused of acting inappropriately by two women. Matt also revealed he had checked himself into rehab due to his excessive drinking. Before Billy passed away in February, Matt was able to reconcile with his father even though he accused him and producers of giving him drugs. In the months that followed, Matt seemed to be ostracized from the family, with fans noting that the current season didn't show him mourning with his siblings.

Matt has been extremely active on his Instagram and often posts recovery videos for his followers. As 2022 rang in around the world, Matt took some time to reflect on his own journey. Matt wishes his supporters a happy New Year as he commented that it was only 5 p.m. in Loomis. The reality star also shared that he was in the middle of watching a Star Trek marathon. Matt dove into the tough subject of being a recovering addict during a celebration such as New Year. The Alaskan Bush People star then shared that he would be working out to keep his head clear and body strong. Environment, diet, and exercise are the most important tools to Matt that helps him stay successful in his journey. Even though he joked that his home was a bit messy, he explained that it was because he had been editing his video. According to Matt, when his environment is messy, his mind is messy. Fans of the star seemed to relate to his message as they showed support in the comment section.

The eldest Brown spent Christmas alone after telling followers that he didn't want to spend time on North Star Ranch. Matt kept to his normal routine on Christmas Day, which consisted of waking up, making his bed, eating some food, and enjoying a bit of rest and relaxation.
