WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry doesn't believe John Cena is at fault for him not becoming WWE Champion, nor does he blame the promotion.

Cena, one of the greatest-ever company superstars, has been accused of burying many superstars over the course of his impressive metier. The part-time performer had a feud with Henry in 2013, with the latter cutting a remarkable promo to announce his retirement before blindsiding Cena.

Henry was expected to win the WWE Championship for the first time in his career given how he was being pushed at the time but Cena was made to keep the silverware when they went head-to-head at Backlash.

Henry, though, said he doesn't think Cena is responsible during an interview with Chris Van Vliet and actually blames himself.

"That wasn’t Cena’s fault, that wasn’t WWE’s fault," he explained (H/T 411Mania.com). "If anybody should be mad, it should be me, because I’m the one who said, look man, I want to go home. I love to stay here and play with the boys and get out here and make some more money and all that stuff, but the most important thing to me was going home and doing what I’m doing. This is God’s work as well as what’s expected out of a man."

The Favorite Gimmick is...

Henry also revealed his favorite gimmick was the Sexual Chocolate character as he had lots of fun entertaining audiences and making them laugh during the Attitude Era.

"Oh, Sexual Chocolate. Near the beginning, that was so much fun," he claimed. "I got to go out every week and make a fool of myself and play with the ladies in the crowd and it didn’t matter if I lost or not because the whole point was to entertain people and make people laugh and I’m a comedy guy, I’ve done a couple of stand-ups. I like making people laugh, I like seeing people enjoy themselves. That was my chance to do that."
