Maria and Mike Kanellis made their first WWE appearance as a couple at Money in the Bank last year, but the former hasn't been seen on programming in a while following her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of their daughter, Freddie Moon.

But there's some good news here for the fans that have been awaiting the return of the Kanellis family. Maria posted a photo on Instagram, revealing that they were backstage at Money in the Bank last night.

We don't know if this is an indicator that Mike and Maria will be back in the WWE full-time again or not, but it simply offers a hint we will see more of them. Maria took an absence after announcing she was pregnant in September. She appeared at the Raw 25th Anniversary special during a segment in which WWE gave thanks to some of their top female talents over the past 20 years.

As for Mike, he bounced around from feud to feud, but took a couple of lengthy hiatuses during his first year in WWE. He was moved to the Raw brand via the Superstar Shake-Up, and last appeared at the Greatest Royal Rumble. However, 2018 Hall of Fame inductee Mark Henry eliminated Kanellis in 2.49 seconds.

Both Mike and Maria were among the top talents in Impact Wrestling. But before Maria's pregnancy, Mike didn't get much of a push that the fans had hoped for. That being said, Mike has said on social media that he's happy in WWE and doesn't think they've done him any wrong.

The last thing the WWE Universe wants is more top talent wasted on the main roster, so we can only hope WWE finds better storylines with the Kanellis family when they return to television.
