Lyrics gone wrong

We Indians are proud about our dance numbers and item songs in films. But in recent times, many of our songs have raised eyebrows and caught the attention of the censor board. Some songs blatantly discuss body parts while others talk about sex in a not so pleasant way. If you remember, the audience hadn’t taken Madhuri Dixit’s Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai in 1993 well. But now such songs that discuss assets are turning into party anthems. The forthcoming film Happy Ending has some pretty weird double-meaning lyrics. On that note we take a look at some of the recent songs that fall under the double-meaning category…

G Phaad ke and Paaji Tuji Such a Pussycat - Happy Ending
Well this quirky comedy has a Gen X emotion to each song. So maybe dancing shoes are just not enough, you need to get the ass on the floor.

2
Pallu Ke Neechey - Rowdy Rathore

Looks like all the women empowerment activists snoozed off when this song was launched. In Pallu Ke Neeche, not one but all three women openly talk about breasts and dance to it. Seriously! This can be quite an introductory song to our Indian porn star Savita bhabhi.

Bhaag DK Bose - Delhi Belly
Hindi abuses have never been this peppy or funny. And what more, they became household too with this song.

Gandi baat - R... Rajkumar
Let's talk sex baby!  We’re so sure that's what must be in the lyricist’s mind. Lovers surely won’t discuss corruption and the hike in onion prices as this so called ‘gandi baat’.

Tooh (Gori Tere Pyaar Mein), Shake your bootiyan (Finding Fanny), Bum Dole (Khoobsurat)
In recent times, the butt has got all the attention. Some call it bum, some call it tooh, but the BOTTOM line is that you just don’t need a reason to shake that bootiya.

I'm a hunter she wants to see my gun -  Gangs Of Wasseypur
Below the belt lyrics have made its way to the Indian cinema. We wonder what’s next?
