Jovi Dufren reveals he has resigned from his high-paying job that had many attractive perks. The 90 Day Fiancé star discusses his new work.
In Yara Zaya's latest YouTube video, 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi Dufren reveals he quit his high-paying job and started a new one. Viewers may remember that Jovi worked as an ROV supervisor, and his job allowed him to travel around the world. In fact, that's how he met his now-wife Yara. Jovi downloaded a travel app to meet new people during his adventures and connected with Yara that way. Over the past few years, Yara and Jovi have traveled to many different countries, including Brazil, Indonesia, Egypt, Greece, and Ukraine.
The couple got engaged just six months after they started dating. Jovi then applied for Yara's K-1 visa in December 2018, and she finally came to the United States around a year later. After the couple got married and welcomed their first child, they realized they were unable to spend quality family time together due to Jovi's job. As an ROV supervisor, the NOLA resident had to spend about 3-4 months overseas, which put a strain on his married life with Yara.
Recently, Yara posted a video on YouTube to share the latest life updates with her 31K subscribers. Jovi said that many 90 Day Fiancé viewers have been asking him whether he left his job and how he is able to stay home for such a long time. Jovi revealed he resigned from his position over a year ago because he didn't want to be away from his family for a longer period of time. He has already started a new job which only requires him to be away from home for a maximum of 3-4 weeks.
The 90 Day Fiancé star didn't reveal the details about his new job. However, it seems like Jovi still works as an ROV supervisor, but with a different company. He said, "Having that kind of money is great, but having my family is more important." Yara and Jovi are also working on a side hustle. Yara chimed in, "I never ever thought I will be there. It is something in IT technology." The couple asked their followers to get excited because they will share news about their new business venture before Valentine's Day. Jovi said, "Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, we will be able to announce."
Previously, Jovi revealed he was developing a dating app for travelers with Yara. Since many 90 Day Fiancé viewers showed interest in how Jovi and Yara met each other, the couple decided to design an app to help people meet their partners overseas. 90 Day Fiancé viewers are eagerly waiting for the dating app to drop. Hopefully, Yara and Jovi stick to their promised timeline and reveal details about it soon.
