“It Still Hurts From Time to Time”- Former WWE Champion Natalya Opens Up About Cyber Bullying

Writer Liam Parker

The wrestling world was in shock the last day over the death of Stardom’s Hana Kimura. Hana Kimura committed suicide after getting bullied online. WWE Superstar Natalya has voiced about the issue on her Twitter account.

Natalya revealed facts from her life. She has been ignorant about bullying, but it still hurts her. Natalya also asked her followers to be careful with the words they use and urges the fans to use the platform constructively.

Natalya wrote, “I get bullied online every day. I’ve found ways to combat it & ignore it, but it still hurts from time to time. It’s OK to have an opinion, but being malicious & reckless with your words is not OK. We have a responsibility to use our platforms constructively. Not destructively.”

Natalya wasn’t the only wrestler that decided to speak up. Former WWE Divas Champion Paige also made a tweet about the bullying issues around the internet asking people to be f****** nice. She also claimed that wrestlers work hard to entertain the very same people.

Wrestlers are like any other celebrities. They are around the world of controversies. With the loss of life involved, people should be more considerate of what they shout out.

Hana Kimura’s bullying

Hana Kimura was only 22 years old. Minutes before her death, she had posted tweet on her Twitter account. It was a goodbye message to the world. She later ingested hydrogen sulfide and was found dead in her apartment.

Kimura was part of the Netflix reality show ‘Terrace House’ in which she argued with a fellow cast member. This led to many garnering hate for her and passing hateful comments and tweets.

Stardom on Twitter also reported her death and asked everyone to be respectful and praying for Kimura and her family.

Stardom fans,

We are very sorry to report that our Hana Kimura has passed away.

Please be respectful and allow some time for things to process, and keep your thoughts and prayers with her family and friends.

We appreciate your support during this difficult time.
