Here's How Long It'll Take For Eyebrows To Grow Back

Writer Liam Parker

For those lucky enough to have their brow hair grow back, it takes longer than you think. "Hair at your eyebrows, like hair on other parts of your body, goes through a regular growth cycle," New York City-based dermatologist Joshua Zeichner told Allure. "Eyebrow hair grows actively for three to four months, followed by a resting phase, after which the hairs are released from the skin." It's a process most of us are completely unaware of. "Your body is constantly making new hair, so most people do not notice the shedding and renewal," Zeichner added.

If you're wondering if there's any way to speed this up, you're in luck (kinda). "One of the hottest products right now is brow regrowth serums, which are designed to target follicles and promote the regeneration and growth of the hair," celebrity brow expert Sal Cikikcioglu told Glamour. However, as Cikikcioglu notes,"These products are by no means a quick-fix solution." You're still going to have a wait a few moths. So sit back, relax, and sharpen your brow pencil.
