Niantic has announced the schedule and details for the upcoming Shared Skies season for the GO Battle League in Pokémon GO. The season will start on June 1st, at 1:00pm (PDT).

As usual, the following will occur at the beginning of the season:

• End-of-season rewards will be available for Trainers on the battle screen.
• Trainers' GO Battle League ranks will be reset.
• Rank-up requirements will remain the same as in the previous season

Cup Details

Great League	Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter.
Ultra League	Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP to enter.
Ultra Premier	Legendary Pokémon, Mythical Pokémon, and Ultra Beasts are not eligible to enter. Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP to enter.
Master League	All Pokémon are eligible to enter, regardless of CP.
Master Premier	All Pokémon are eligible to enter, regardless of CP, with the exception of Legendary Pokémon, Mythical Pokémon, and Ultra Beasts.
Summer Cup: Great League Edition	All Normal-, Fire-, Water-, Grass-, Electric-, and Bug-type Pokémon are eligible to enter. Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter the Great League Edition
Fantasy Cup: Great League Edition	All Dragon-, Steel-, and Fairy-type Pokémon are eligible to enter. Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter the Great League Edition.
Fossil Cup: Great League Edition	All Water-, Rock-, and Steel-type Pokémon are eligible to enter. Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP to enter the Great League Edition.
Great League Remix	As per Great League, with the exception that the 20 Pokémon most used by Trainers of Ace rank and up in the Great League will not be eligible. Currently, the following Pokémon are not eligible: Alolan Sandslash, Wigglytuff, Dewgong, Lickitung, Feraligatr, Lanturn, Azumarill, Skarmory, Vigoroth, Medicham, Altaria, Whiscash, Bastiodon, Cresselia, Galarian Stunfisk, Talonflame, Trevenant, Charjabug, Skeledirge, Annihilape.
Catch Cup: Shared Skies: Great League Edition	All Pokémon caught during the Shared Skies season, and that are at or below 1,500 CP, are eligible to enter.

GO Battle Week: Shared Skies
A special GO Battle Week will be held from Friday August 16th at 10:00am local time, through to Tuesday August 20th at 11:59pm local time, overlapping with the simultaneous run of the Great League, Ultra League, and Master League, and with parts of both the Fossil Cup: Great League Edition and Catch Cup: Great League Edition. During this not-quite-a-week, the following bonuses will be active:

• Trainers will receive 4× Stardust from win rewards (separate to the end-of-set rewards)
• The maximum number of sets Trainers can play per day will be increased from five to 10 - for a total of 50 battles - from 12:00am to 11:59pm local time.

GO Battle Weekend Timed Research
Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available over this Battle Weekend. Completing the free Timed Research will award Trainers with the Lama-Style Wig avatar item, among other rewards.

Pokémon encountered via GO Battle League rewards will have a wider variance of Attack, Defense, and HP than would typically be seen.

Go Battle League Timed Research Pass
A pass to access free battle-themed Timed Research will available to claim from the in-game shop from the start of the season. This Timed Research will keep track of Trainer's victories throughout the season, with each page requiring 100 wins to complete. Completing a page will award an amount of Stardust and items such as Rare Candy XL, with additional rewards including an Elite Fast TM at 400 wins, and an Elite Charged TM at 500 wins.

Trainers can encounter the following Pokémon in reward encounters throughout the season on completing a set of 5 battles:

• Rank 1 to Rank 5
• Rank 6 to 10
• Rank 11 to Rank 15
• Rank 16 to Rank 19

  • Five-star Raid Boss (The Pokémon currently appearing in five-star raids has a chance of appearing as a reward encounter after Trainers reach rank 20)

Avatar Items
At certain ranks, Trainers will also be able to earn avatar items and a pose inspired by Lana, the Trial Captain of Akala Island's Brooklet Hill in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon.
