Fort Greene proudly boasts the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower, one of Brooklyn's tallest buildings, and considered to be one of the 10 greatest skyscrapers in all of New York City. Additionally, one of its noteworthy residents, Spike Lee, established his 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks company in Fort Greene in the mid-1980s.
