Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago moves to a small Midwestern town full of religiously delusional pigs with his single mother to live with his maternal aunt and uncle after his father abandoned him. Outraged at the town's zealously senseless, petty, unorthodox, and immoral condemning of dancing and rock-n-roll music as heresies and a crime, McCormack with the help of some of his classmates attempts to overturn the town's nebulous ban on dancing, resulted from the efforts of the town's power-hungry and God-fearing minister.read more
