10 WWE: The Rock

WWE would need the star presence of Rock and he contributed way too much at the most important time to get left off the team. Rock would not be the leader of Team WWE, but he deserves to have a noteworthy spot on any All-Star WWE squad.

9 WCW: Hollywood Hogan

The biggest decision for such a Survivor Series dream match would be figuring out which team Hulk Hogan appears on. Despite being the first major superstar in and arguably the biggest for WWE, Hogan’s importance to WCW’s rise was too important.

WCW was not viewed as being on WWE’s level until Hogan signed with them and they didn’t pass WCW until Hogan formed the New World Order with the Hollywood heel character. Hogan played a role in WCW even contending against WWE which earns him a spot with Team WCW.

8 WWE: Shawn Michaels

The level of greatness exhibited by Shawn Michaels for such a long time made him a WWE icon. Michaels was one of the few WWE wrestlers from the era of the Monday Night Wars to never jump ship for a run in WCW at any point.

Most WWE fans of multiple generations list Michaels in their top five all-time WWE performers. The incredible matches and eventually legendary legacy make Michaels a fixture in the foundation of WWE. Michaels would have to be on the WWE team to give them their best chance to win.

7 WCW: Diamond Dallas Page

Diamond Dallas Page became a surprise breakout star for WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Unlike most other main eventers living off their past track record, Page broke into the WCW main event scene by organically becoming a fan favorite before getting his push.

WCW fans fell in love with DDP as one of the main faces that stood up against the New World Order. Matches against Randy Savage, Goldberg and Raven ranks Page high in many all-time WCW matches. The addition of DDP would make him a fan favorite on the WCW side.

6 WWE: John Cena

The one recent name in WWE that would land a spot on Team WWE would be John Cena. WWE would receive a huge boost from Cena becoming the face of the company for about a decade while hitting home run after home run.

Cena might have the most classic matches in WWE history with iconic bouts against the likes of CM Punk, Edge and Shawn Michaels. The loyalty showed Cena showed for WWE featured a man that truly loved representing them. Cena would have to be included in any WWE All-Star team.

5 WCW: Ric Flair

Despite being respected and adored by WWE fans, the best and most important work of Ric Flair’s career came in WCW. Fans viewed Flair as WCW’s version of Hulk Hogan when the company was finally picking up steam trying to create a competition with WWE.

Flair represented WCW well with the best matches and best promos in the industry at the time. An iconic career for Flair in WCW would see him be a leader for the group. Flair helped WCW reach enough relevance to create an even bigger platform for the company to grow into.

4 WWE: Steve Austin

The star power of Steve Austin played the biggest role in WWE reaching new heights to overtake WCW and win the Monday Night Wars. WWE desperately lacked in main event star power when they fell behind WCW for 83 straight weeks.

Austin’s popularity coincided with WWE slowly catching up, passing and taking a big lead over WCW in the Monday Night Wars. Fans wanted to see what Austin would do next as such an entertaining and unpredictable character. WWE beat WCW with Austin in real life, so they would want to use him in the fantasy All-Star match.

3 WCW: Goldberg

Goldberg was the biggest new star created by WCW during the Monday Night Wars. Most of their top stars came from WWE with Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Roddy Piper dominating big PPVs. Goldberg however started his career and instantly became a mega-star.

Fans loved the dominating wins of Goldberg squashing his opponents during a long undefeated streak. The story of the streak turned Goldberg into a legend as he skyrocketed to the main event. WCW would gladly pick Goldberg to go into battle against WWE.

2 WWE: The Undertaker

The Undertaker had the nickname of the “conscience of WWE” for his impact on the company. WWE saw most of their top stars jump ship to WCW or go back and forth for the biggest offer. Meanwhile, The Undertaker never even once was a realistic candidate to jump ship.

WWE didn’t always use him as a main eventer or world title contender, but Undertaker was good enough to contribute greatly in every role given to him. The career of Undertaker is still going today making him the longest-running main eventer in WWE history. WCW would have to combat Undertaker as the WWE’s captain.

1 WCW: Sting

The top choice and the captain of any WCW All-Star team would have to be Sting. WCW fans fell in love with Sting in the late-80s when he had his iconic rivalry with Ric Flair. Sting became the heart of the company with fans rooting hardest for him in most of WCW’s existence.

Sting's loyalty saw him never consider jumping ship to WWE. Sting even refused to sign with WWE until his final career year as the last WCW wrestler that kept holding out from joining the former enemy. WCW would start with Sting as the captain and heart of the team.
