While there have been several superstars over the years that have saved themselves to stave off elimination, none compare to Kofi Kingston's jaw-dropping stunts. Because of this, the New Day member has established a pretty fun legacy for his career, alongside all of his other accolades of course. The confines of what Kofi’s capable of in the Royal Rumble is his own imagination.

9 2022 - Epic Fail

The reason the streak of Kofi Kingston’s Rumble save ending is oddly enough the reason they began in the first place. In 2011, John Morrison was knocked off the apron by William Regal. The Prince Of Parkour had leapt to the guardrail and grabbed on, avoiding his feet hitting the floor. He’d then hoist himself up and hop onto the ring steps. But when Morrison got released in the same year, Kofi started his own streak of Rumble saves the following year. But in 2022, he tried this exact spot - Kevin Owens had knocked him to the guardrail. Unfortunately, Kofi’s feet hit the floor for a split second, just enough to get sent home way earlier than he anticipated.

8 2018 - Landing On Woods And Pancakes

Once Kofi became part of The New Day, if Xavier Woods or Big E was anywhere near him during the Rumble, they’d certainly be helpful in saving their friend. In 2018, Jinder Mahal had tossed Kofi out. But Xavier Woods was right underneath for Kofi to land on.

Shortly after, Big E arrived with a plate of pancakes to place under Kofi’s “good” foot. He hopped back and forth until he realized it would just be better for his brothers to help catapult him back in.

7 2017 - Saved By The Pole

While climbing to the top turnbuckles is not recommended during any battle royal, much less The Royal Rumble. But a guy like Kofi, who likes to fly might not pay much attention that that unwritten guideline. In 2017, he tried to head to the tippy top of the ring posts when Baron Corbin knocked him right off. The quick thinking, quick footed Kingston snatched the top of the post and held on for dear life to get himself back into the fray.

6 2015 - Crowd Surfing

In the Flash In The Pan category, Adam Rose was tailor-made for NXT in the Developmental brand’s infancy. He got called up to the main roster, alongside a ton of Rosebuds. The professional partier partied all the way to the Rumble, just in time for The Rosebuds to catch Kofi, saving him and crowd-surfing him back into the ring. One second later, they somehow missed their fearless leader.

5 2019 - Sunset Flip

Xavier Woods jumps in again for the save. On the eve of KofiMania, Xavier Woods charged to the ring to enter the Rumble and got there just in time to save his friend.

Kofi actually had to deliver a Sunset Flip to his friend and landed with one foot up to stay alive. Together, Woods and Kofi orchestrated a wheelbarrow suplex to send Kofi back into the apron.

4 2016 - Caught By Big E

With the WWE title on the line during the 2016 Rumble, The New Day were ready to pull out all the stops to help make sure Kofi Kingston had more than a fighting chance. Especially since Big E and Xavier Woods weren’t part of the match! After Kane nailed Kofi and sent him flying over the top rope, Big E was able to catch Kofi on his shoulders. Instead of immediately getting back into the action, fans were treated to a Unicorn Stamped as Big E ran around the ring! Kofi, meanwhile was drinking sodas from fans in the crowd.

3 2013 - Office Chair Pogo Stick

Just during the second year into his Rumble Save Streak and Kofi Kingston was already proving to be a magician. After he got tossed out, he landed on Tensai. Thankfully, the big man slammed Kofi into the announce table instead of the floor. Kingston thought quick, demanding JBL’s announce chair to use as a pogo stick and bounce his way back to the ring.

2 2014 - Guardrail Leap

A few seconds afterwards, CM Punk knocked Kofi to the outside right into the waiting arms of Rusev who slammed him right onto the guardrail near the end of the entry ramp. The former WWE champion took a huge running leap to get back to the ring.

1 2012 - Handstand

The OG Kofi Kingston save is still the best one. Why, you ask? Because it’s a handstand, and he walked from one ring post to the other, on his hands! The Miz knocked Kofi to the outside, and he landed in a handstand position. The A-Lister tried to just flip Kofi over, but that is when he walked over to the steps and stomped his feet on them to stave off elimination.
