In honor of its 20th anniversary, Screen Rant has an exclusive Cyberchase behind-the-scenes video highlighting Christopher Lloyd voicing Hacker. The animated kids series revolves around kids Jackie, Matt and Inez as they find themselves transported to the digital world Cyberspace by Hacker, a mad scientist attempting to utilize a virus to corrupt the Cyberspace's brain the Motherboard and take it over for himself. The three kids must work with Digit, a creation of Hacker who escaped his control, in order to save the world from the villain and nullify his virus.

Created by the New York-based Thirteen, Cyberchase premiered on PBS Kids on 2002 and has been a generally successful series for the network, running for 13 seasons over the years, though initially taking a hiatus from 2010-2013. The series has also received positive reviews from critics and garnered five Daytime Emmy nominations and winning one in 2007 for Outstanding Broadband Program. Following another three-year gap, Cyberchase is gearing up to return for season 13 in time for a major milestone in the show's lifecycle.

As the show has hit its 20th anniversary, Screen Rant has an exclusive Cyberchase BTS video. The special featurette is an archived interview with Christopher Lloyd as he breaks down his villainous character Hacker and shows the actor bringing his voice to the role. Christopher Lloyd isn't the only major performer to lend his voice to Cyberchase in its 13-season run thus far, with celebrated comedian and voice actor Gilbert Gottfried also starring as Digit. Additionally, the series has seen a number of notable guest stars, some of whom include Matthew Broderick, Jasmine Guy, Tony Hawk, Al Roker and Geoffrey Holder as various Cyberpace citizens, villains and friends. Lloyd's work in the series also marks one of the lesser-seen villainous turns for the Back to the Future actor, save for his notable performances as Grigori Rasputin in the animated Anastasia movie and Judge Doom in the beloved live-action/animated comedy Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Those who grew up watching Cyberchase are sure to find the exclusive BTS video an interesting and nostalgic look back at Christopher Lloyd's performance bringing the Hacker to life for the animated series. As evidenced by his full-body performance, the Emmy-winning actor clearly relished tapping into the more outrageous and loud-mouth nature of the central antagonist as he struggles in his efforts to take control of the Cyberspace and dealing with his unreliable lackeys, Buzz and Delete. Audiences can look forward to Lloyd's return as the Hacker with Cyberchase season 13 premiering on PBS Kids on Friday, February 25 with four new episodes.
