To understand where we're at with "Crikey! It's the Irwins" Season 4, it's important to take a step back and look at Season 3. The show was officially renewed by Animal Planet for its third season in May 2020 (per The Hollywood Reporter). The season kicked off with a special that looked at the family's life during the pandemic and how it impacted their care of the many animals at the Australia Zoo since it was closed.

That wasn't the only surprise Season 3 had for fans, however. It also followed Bindi Irwin as she and husband Chandler Powell became parents for the very first time. The season actually concluded with the birth of their daughter, Grace Warrior Powell. 

The joyous moment was bittersweet for fans who know how these milestones always open the family up to missing their beloved patriarch, Steve Irwin. Still, fans are eager to watch Bindi grow as a mom and see how she passes Steve's legacy along to the next generation. 

Enter Season 4, which is likely to show us just that. While "Crikey! It's the Irwins" hasn't officially been greenlit for another season, there's a good chance it's on the way (per Next Season TV). As for when it will premiere, it's anyone's guess now that there's a little one involved.
