Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley shades ex Dale Moss in IG Story while praising mystery man speculated to be Blake Monar who give ‘no inconsistency.'

The Bachelorette star Clare Crawley may have just shaded her ex Dale Moss with her latest Instagram Story amid Blake Monar dating rumors. Clare was the lead of The Bachelorette season 16, possibly one of the shortest and most eventful in the franchise. As soon as the first episode was out Bachelor Nation knew who Clare was going to pick, and so did she. The former Bachelorette had set her sites for Dale Moss, and within two weeks the couple was engaged and the season was over. Leaving the remaining men confused, and The Bachelor producers scrambling to find someone to fill her role.

From their first public interview as a couple, in which Clare mentioned her eagerness at having kids, and Dale mentioned his want to just get to know each other, it was obvious they weren't on the same page. They maintained an off-again on-again romance for a little over a year before the couple finally called in quits in September of 2021. Clare has since opened up about how painful the breakup was. Even detailing how she shouldn't have trusted who Dale pretended to be. However, more recently Clare and another member of Bachelor Nation have been sparking dating rumors. Blake Monar was a contestant on Clare's season, though he only made it to the second rose ceremony. He went on to the sister show Bachelor In Paradise but ultimately left empty-handed.  Since then, the unlikely pair have been turning heads by posting publically about each other and often being spotted out and about together.

This Friday Clare took to her Instagram Story to post a cryptic caption seemingly dissing her ex, Dale Moss, and praising a mystery man. The caption, which was captured by Us Weekly, reads, "A safe man comes into your life & loves you correctly, No sneaky stuff. No half love. No extra females. No inconsistency. Just you and only you, sis." This caption says a lot about Clare's previous relationship, without confirming anything at all. While there was always speculation Dale cheated on Clare, he only ever denied it, and Clare attempted to tiptoe around the allegations. Choosing to take the high road instead of fanning the flames.

This caption not only seems to confirm Dale cheated, but also that whoever she's with now makes her feel at ease. Although there's no confirmation that the "safe man" Clare is referring to is Blake, the pair had been spotted out together just hours prior. In fact, even the day before Blake took to his Instagram Story to post videos of the couple singing in a car together with the caption, "Worlds worse carpool karaoke duo". The two can be seen singing and giggling together, with Clare clearly curling into Blake. Once again, without saying anything Clare and Blake seem to be confirming a lot.

Clare's short time as The Bachelorette was overshadowed by the rollercoaster of events that followed. Her breakup with Dale was an intense one. And after months of trying to make their relationship work, having to let go and rebuild so publically couldn't have been easy. Clare's story, of not feeling appreciated or respected, is a heartbreaking ending for a show that often promises its leads a Happily Ever After. It's good to see after such a tumultuous relationship, she's finally with someone who makes her feel safe and loved. The irony being he was in that room with her the whole time.
