Braun Strowman Reveals A New Look [Photo]

Former WWE superstar Braun Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) certainly doesn't look like The Monster Among Men anymore.
The former Universal Champion displayed a brand new look on his Instagram page. The long hair and beard have been gone for a while now, but you'll notice that he's looking even more lean than before.
Strowman was one of six WWE talents who was released from his contract on June 2, along with Aleister Black, Lana, Santana Garrett, Buddy Murphy and Ruby Riott.
Strowman's release was largely surprising considering how much time he had spent in the main event scene over the previous four years. He was less than a year removed from a Universal Championship reign when he was released, after all.
Back in August, Impact Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore dropped a hint that both Strowman and Murphy would soon join the company, but that obviously never transpired. Strowman was seen meeting with D'Amore the week before the Oct. 23 Bound for Glory pay-per-view, leading to speculation that he was about to debut for the promotion. But of course, Strowman never actually showed up at Bound for Glory.

The 38-year-old Strowman remains a free agent, and it's anybody's guess where he'll land next. His former ally and Wyatt Family leader, Bray Wyatt, was released from his contract on July 31 and also remains unsigned. For what it's worth, Strowman has hinted at working again with Wyatt, whom AEW reportedly tried to bring in not too long ago.
Braun Strowman's Last WWE Match
Strowman's last match for WWE took place at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on May 16. He and Drew McIntyre challenged WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match for the title. The Almighty was able to retain his championship after pinning The Monster Among Men, who would be released from his contract just two weeks later.
