Description of Anastasia Steele (Ana):

Ana is a 21 year old English graduate who meets Christian by chance, when she is assigned to interview him when her best friend Kate is ill. She has pale skin, thick chestnut hair, powder-blue eyes, a delicate face and a slender frame. She rarely wears makeup and is unaware of her attractiveness - Christian notices early on that she is unaware of her own allure.
