Amy Slaton Halterman of 1000-lb Sisters allowed fans to breathe a sigh of relief after sharing an update on her sister Tammy Slaton. Tammy has been MIA in recent months, and fans automatically feared the worst. Luckily, Amy seems to have put supporters' concerns at ease.

For three seasons, Amy has had to deal with rumors that the 1,000-lb Sisters star had passed away, on more than one occasion. Just recently, Tammy herself had to confirm to fans that she was, in fact, still very much alive. Since October, Tammy has been living in a rehab center, after she suffered a near-death experience when her lung collapsed. Amy has had a front-row seat when it comes to Tammy's fair share of health issues, so it's not a surprise that fans have been concerned about her.

After pointing out that Tammy had not posted in a while, Amy took to the comments section, writing, "Yes, she been lock out of her account and had to set up new ones. And tiktok bann her." Recently, Amy took to her Instagram to update fans after a follower asked about TammyBoth Amy and Tammy, who hail from Kentucky, have not had the easiest of lives. The sisters' dependency on food and their inability to control their food intake is what made them famous in the first place. With all the fame comes the burden to prove that all is still well in the Slaton household.

Amy revealed no more on the subject and did not provide a reason as to why Tammy had been locked out of all her accounts. At one point, Tammy had over 350k followers on her Instagram account and quite a few more on TikTok, with about one million. Many 1000-lb Sisters fans were quick to notice that Tammy stopped posting any content back in March. The 1,000-lb Sisters celeb's TikTok was removed for a short period of time, with a spokesperson sharing that it was a misunderstanding.

Amy recently moved out of the home she shared with Tammy, after buying her forever duplex home with her husband, Michael Halterman. The happy couple is looking forward to welcoming their second son sometime this summer. Amy has kept herself busy by posting updates about their son, Gage. While she hasn't posted a photo of Tammy, fans can only assume she has been visiting her sister in rehab. For now, 1000-lb Sisters followers are just happy to know that Tammy is on the mend and not dead as they feared.
